Hows It Bean

When a client comes to us and says they want their new coffee shop to have a "cabin like outdoorsy feel on a budget." That statement may seem like a daunting task to other companies but at Douglas McClentic Architect we love a good design challenge! Our design took the client's idea, used the elements in the build and treated them with forms and finishes that gives the abstract feel of a cabin in the mountains. This was done while maintaining a budget the client could live with. This project just goes to show that you can still get great creative design in an affordable manner.  We listened, We brainstormed, we delivered!

CUBAN REVOLUTION

Called by some one of the most beautiful restaurant spaces in Providence, this adaptation of a former mill building at “the Plant” on Valley street in Providence RI has combined an old building with ideas about challenging the status quo to create a new restaurant that has an old world industrial feel mixed with a contemporary flair.

RIVERWOOD VILLAS

Riverwood Community is said to be the best place to live in Clayton, NC. The Riverwood Villas features 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and two large commercial spaces spread across seven buildings. Built to complete the shops in Riverwood the Villas fill in the missing half of the main street of the Riverwood Athletic Club and offers the convenience of a planned community with resort-style amenities. This project will continue well into 2020.
